Is Bone-Protec natural?
Yes. Bone-Protec is made of natural ingredients. It contains no
pharmaceuticals and does not therefore require a prescription unlike most osteoporosis prevention medication. Each
ingredient has undergone clinical studies to prove their benefit to the
human body and ensure their compatibility and abilities.
Are there any discounts for bulk purchases?
Yes, we have a program to help save money. Please refer to our 'save money' link under Customer Info.
Can you tell me more about the ingredients in Bone-Protec?
Xtend-Life's R & D team have spent time researching the ingredients
in Bone-Protec, including their individual and compatible clinical
trials, to formulate the best possible results. It is important to note
that although each ingredient has individual benefits, it is only
when formulated together in specific quantities and ratios that it is
possible to achieve worthwhile results at an optimal level. Please go to the Ingredients tab to view further information on these ingredients and their trials.
Why do you use Magnesium oxide instead of the more common Magnesium citrate?
The reason for this is that the Coral
Calcium that we use is alkaline, whereas the citrate form of Magnesium
is acid. Therefore, by using an oxide form of Magnesium we help to
prevent any negative interactions between these two minerals. A small
amount of citrate such as Boron citrate is OK.
Are there any side effects associated with taking Bone-Protec?
Our Bone-Protec formula is a complete natural product so the potential
for negative side effects is greatly reduced, in most cases eliminated.
Some people can still have reactions to particular ingredients however
and conflicts with prescription medications can occur.
Can Bone-Protec be taken while pregnant or nursing?
While Bone-Protec is safe to take in the preconception stage, once you
know you are pregnant it should only be continued on the advice of your
physician.
Will Bone-Protec interfere with other prescription medications?
Many chemical and synthetic drugs will interfere with natural
ingredients and vice versa. It is always recommended to consult with
your physician prior to adding any supplement to your medication
regimen. Alternatively, you may email us with regard to any concerns
you may have. It is important to be aware that it contains Vitamin K2
so it you are on blood thinning medication it is important that you
discuss taking Bone-Protec with your physician.
I am taking other nutritional supplements and natural medications. Is this ok?
There is generally no problem with taking additional supplements or
remedies from other suppliers, although it is usually unnecessary as
Xtend-Life have put together protocols to cover most peoples' needs. If
you do add other supplements it is important to remember though that an
excess of additional supplements or some ingredients can potentially be
detrimental to your health. Xtend-Life product ranges are designed to
be taken in combination without such risks.
What else can I do to help myself?
It is important to ensure a generally healthy lifestyle, which includes
exercise and a good dietary regime. Even moderate weight-bearing
exercise can help to strengthen your skeletal system, improve overall
circulation and increase your immunity against degenerative disease. A
healthy and balanced diet is of course also important.
